Wells Fargo in West Des Moines, IA did the same. They sent people to "take" all hand sanitizers and other cleaning items from employees' desks. People's personal self bought property. No way is that legal.
Let me get this straight. Are you saying hand sanitizer you brought to work disappeared, possibly stolen by a colleague, or are you saying that official policy is anything you bring to work is commandeered by management?
