This is 100% true. It's been in the press for a while and lawsuits are starting to come in.
This has been a well known fact for many years. Glad to see someone sue over it. I avoided this by using the index fund options.
As many scandals as wells has going on this isn’t one of them. As a previous poster mentioned the bitcoinist is trying to k–l banks for their own greed. This is the first comment I have made to defend wells and big banks. Maybe they should post an article about Mt Gox and virtual currency theft and volatility
I wonder when this suit was filed. Was it before or after the current carnage of the stock market? Look - there may be some truth to the claim. But I am suspecting that someone (or some group) did not pick their investment wisely and is trying to sue to recover their losses.
Bitcoinist? Seems legit.
Not that Wells didn't maybe do some crimes for sure, but at least cite reputable business news sites, please.
