Everybody is acting like this will all be done by the end of April, for sure. But where is that certainty coming from? What if it lasts longer? In China, it's been nearly four months and things are not back to normal yet. I'm just wondering how it'll affect our jobs and the entire economy if this continues well past spring.

China shut down the entire nation, and they are only now beginning to recover. Meanwhile, here in the good 'ole USA we have UVerse installers going to houses all day every day to install video entertainment. What a perfect way to contract and then spread the disease from house to house for no justifiable reason!
Worse than that, we have inhome 'experts' following UVerse installers going into houses to sell AT&T cell phone service unexpected and uninvited.
How much worse is the pandemic going to be because of AT&T's greed? How many families will get infected and sick and possibly die so that AT&T can hook up another AT&T box or sell another cell plan?
This company is beyond reprehensible!

My concern is both now and in the fall. Right now, most people are taking this seriously. However, often people tend to take the second round of an event less seriously (they survived the first and they'll survive the second). This virus is hitting now and will be impactful. I believe though, come fall when it swings around again and people refuse to insert the same safety standards being implemented at this time, the virus will be stronger with a greater impact. Be ready.

H1N1 in 2009 infected 68 million Americans and resulted in 12,000 deaths. You will not be anywhere near those numbers and sure you should take it serious! But PANIC ....NO!
Buddy, I have family in Italy. Trust me when I tell you, there is nothing fake about this. And for those of us with elder parents who know how bad it can get, the fear is very real.
It won't. Follow the CDC, WHO and American guidelines to stay clear of the virus. Stop watching CNN/MSNBC and stop panicking and hoarding, they're only hoaxing the American public with fake fear.
Half the people in this country will get it. Once you get it, you'll develop antibodies. I started getting a cough about a week ago. Now, all set. Was it COVID-19? Who knows? With the governments "stick head in sand", it's a hoax, the testing is anemic. There is a 15 minute test that can tell if someone has the antibodies. I have a feeling that there are considerably more people who have had this, got by it and are now immune.
