Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Why not suspend all field operations?

Going on calls endangers both us and everybody we come in contact with. How bad does it have to get for some common sense to enter the picture?

I realize they can't just shut everything down, but some masks and hand sanitizer isn't too much to ask. If Im asked to go somewhere im not comfortable, im leaving...Not worth it.

So, when your cable, satellite or internet TV fails, are you going to sit quietly until the virus is over? If your electricity goes down, what is your plan? If the healthcare folks decide not to come in, what is you plan for medical treatment? How about the folks delivering food to the stores, think you might want to eat? Oh yeah, how about those first responders?
