Is how the company treats surplussed employees. Actually, even witch doctors have not figured out how to try to teleport you hundreds of miles away from family and friends or to torture you with a 60 days notice of execution.

I for one would be ecstatic if I were deemed surplus. However, my situation: age, years, mr75, and simply sick and tired of it all, I'm ready to go, and want a severance and then apply for unemployment. If you referring to that 60 day wait time, where you are to find another position in the company or your out? Well, you must be kidding yourself if you think that you're going to find anything to move to and save your bacon. So yes, I can see where your management and co-workers that have to keep looking at your ugly face for you to finally make your exit, that walk of shame if it were, yeah, I guess that would s—, if you cared. Think they care? Think the company cares? Why would you care? Think of it as you hit the company lottery and make the most out of what is a blessing in disguise, There is a silver lining in every storm cloud, look for it, find it, and live your life a much happier person.
