Sounds like a rumor. District 6 mobility is literally at the bargaining table with an IHX rep there. So this must be very secret indeed.
Prems aren't going anywhere. As the highly paid core contract outside techs eventually retire, T will gradually replace them with much cheaper Prem Techs. Whether Randall likes it or not, the company will always need some outside technicians.
IHX will be rebadged and moved to a contract position under the company “Enjoy”.
Same basic job, just off the company books and no longer a liability for lawsuits.
IHX/Prem/Wire tech will be a thing of the past in a few years.

This is False, At&t tv launches soon and should help with more dispatches. I’m in IHX and have seen a steep decline in the number of jobs per expert but At&T TV should help increase the numbers of dispatches at least according to the higher ups. I will say there is a ton of fraud but it’s not shutting down anytime soon because IHX actually does more net ads than Retail stores.
Lol. At&t isn’t getting rid of a division that operates in high fraud. That’s the current and future company strategy!
