Heard some rumors, I hope they were false.

I was notified March last year, along with hundreds (based on the number of surplus Q-chatroom and weekly HR meetings), if not thousands. March seems to be the time for Q2 layoff announcements. Best of luck to everyone still there! BTW there IS life after AT&T, and it will be better! Do not fright it!

Those that were told they were in an impacted work group should get letters of who is impacted next week.
They like to get people off by end of quarters.
- The “affected work group call”
- About 2 weeks later - the people surplussed are announced.
- 60 day job seeking period for the ones getting cut.
It’s usually about a 2.5 month process.
For Q1, is it already too late.
IMO, next month will be the month of blood shed
1st Announcement made in late feb / early March.
Those sacrificed for Lord Randall get the call around mid march.
Off the books by mid May.
Yea, mostly managers though. Theys expendable
Does a bear poo in the woods?
is the sky blue? if yes, then layoffs are always a possibility...
Orange County Register newspaper in So Cal had an article last week that stated 200 field techs would be layed off 2/14/20
I consulted my Eight Ball, it said yes, most definitely
Yes. Enjoy
I would think so, based on so many more heads need to roll, that a MVO should go out first, then a surplus to know the numbers to whack for this quarter. I do not know if there is more to outsource/rebadge, I hope not and done with that.
Timing not right. They usually want people off pay role at end of quarter to help manipulate earnings results. Since they usually give about 6 weeks notice I would expect the next round of layoffs to be announced next week.
No layoffs this week..enjoy
