I heard this morning that Hilliard will be laying off 500 of its employees at the Verizon.
"This is to advise you that, due to reductions, restaffing or reorganization of the workforce in your organization, your position has been impacted," the letter said. "If you do not secure another position prior to the end of your notification period, your last day on Verizon payroll will be 4/6/2020."
Amazon does not buy buildings, they lease. And office buildings are almost worthless at this point. Industrial warehouses are where its at.
Anyone know what center is next?
Building sales are publik record; if amazon bought it, we would have known by now
I’ve heard rumor, even in the office, that Amazon bought the building but where is there any proof of this?
Amazon bought the building
No building is sold.
Will Verizon leav3 that buildin open 4 so few depts?
Severance appears to be 2 weeks pay for every year worked. Really trying to funnel people into those HBA spots. I don't suggest transferring. Every other center seems to be dying on the vine as well. If you relocate you'll just be playing this game again shortly.
BGCO is gone (relocations)
CORE sent to home based
CSST is gone (relocation)
Everything else ok
HBA, relocate or severance.
Take the money and run. If you are lucky to have been turned down for VSP last year, fingers crossed you get the enhanced package. Anyone sitting on Hilliard still knew it was doomed. Writing on the walls for years.
Meeting at 2. Buckle up.
