I was offered VSIPP today.
Not retiring I was leaving.
My manager completed my paperwork yesterday with off schedule on the 15th.
Nothing other than stating I had to accept the offer by the 7th. I assume all else remmauns the same.
Would that change my exit date?
I was vacationing out.

I have worked for the company for 20 years as a power tech. While they keep changing their name, titles, organiztion, blah blah blah...
None of it mattered to me. I am a bargained for employee.
The only thing I worried about was the power.
The rest was not my concern and in short they did not pay me to worry about it.

@1pga+13mUgTxS, I've heard many times from current and former vets, how they line you up, and as you step through the gauntlet, they hit you with more than one shot at a time in both arms. often right after passing through the shot line, several fall out. And this shot line happens like every 3 months, depending on where you have been, where you may go, and what if anything you may have caught. Not telling what your immune system is doing by the time you've got several years in and perhaps hundreds of shots and of those how many were untested or experimental.

Well I believe I was administered too many anthrax vaccines. I currently have issues in claims against the VA. Memory loss/PTSD at 70%, 10 left knee(original service connection), 10% lower spine. 13 claims deferred.
There was a leaked memo of bad batches. I received 5 doses in 4 months. The first 2 did not make my record and what they deemed the first, was my third. I copied my medical record at that time. (20 years ago)
We were mandated to take the shots then.
Symptoms are similar or exact to gulf war illness. I never stepped foot in the gulf war zone.
OP, if you're a disabled vet, know that various states will discount your license plate fees and reduce your property taxes. Illinois is one and I believe Pennsylvania. Check into that.

I am an 80% disabled vet(recently bumped up from 10 %) working prevents me from receiving 100%. I will apply for SSDI from there. I am 44.
I receive greater benefits through the government and monthly tax free checks.
I definitely don't need to be here anymore.
I will just take what I have.

Sick of it all, and just couldn't wait out being surplus or MVO, or didn't want to risk being rebadged as you feel that is more than likely? Do you plan to apply for unemployment benefits? Or look for lower stress/less BS work outside of here, or you're truly retiring in every sense of the word?
