Another case of do what I say , not what I do. Every year we employees have to sign an ethics form saying we agree not to receive or give gifts. I guess there’s an asterisk saying it’s not unethical as long as you’re a shot caller.

Hardly consider a $75 dinner a bribe. Not like we offered to improve the network by building a cell tower to get a vote to go AT&T's way. We would never do that :)

It's the responsibility of the city official to decline those type of offers. Nothing to do with AT&T, its the integrity of the individual.
Whether anybody wants to admit it or not we are a third world banana government except we are all dressed up in suits and fancy cars and fancy toys.
