Will there be any more layoffs today? The mood at the office is quite somber after yesterday and it doesn't help that we have no idea if we are looking at more of the same today.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm stressing enough as it is, I really don't need to add this uncertainty to the mix.
It's clear to me that there will be further consolidation of the organization for any functions that can be pulled up to the Group and go cross segment. Shared services type organizations have been moving that way for 2 years. More technical functions are likely to do the same where synergies can be found such as Engineering.
Which office in which location are you talking about. The layoff are occurring worldwide.
