I just don't get it as when I tool a close look at the Management chain in my tower I continue to see layers and layers of VP's and Directors some with one or two employees reporting to them. This company continues to appear very very top .

Targets have been placed on Techs with 30 plus years. Rampant discipline for even the smallest of infractions with meeting where it is suggested that the employee should consider retirements

My VP said the company was "not even close" to reaching staff reduction numbers. Maybe getting laid off earlier in the year was a blessing, at least companies are looking for people with the new year budgets.
That's 20k - 30k cancelling their service in 2019 & now in 2020
I see 247,800 employees at the end of 2019, and 268,220 at the end of 2018. So, a reduction of 20,420. But, without contractor headcount totals, it's hard to figure out the net labor reduction. Those contractors aren't free. There was a bit of "rebadging" to various contractors that occurred in 2019.
It won’t stop folks every one for themselves. What a great environment.
The company lost 20K Employees in 2019 but that is a net count. I would say it's closer to 30K local jobs and 10K overseas hires.

If there's another 50% in labor reductions to go, what does that mean in real numbers? How many have been laid off so far?
I could only image that major steps to go down in 90 days, they still consider us way too top heavy, and have a long way to go in terminating employees.
Stankey also alluded to next steps within 90 days. It was cryptic and vague. Any comments regarding that welcome.
