Post any information you have about the total headcount (I know it changes all the time). How about the main office at Dallas?

How many people work at AT&T? Well, still employed, a bunch, work?!? I’d say just over half work, the rest work hard at not working. That statement covers Non management and Management. Nobody works 8 and paid 8. More like 5.5 for 8.
Last qtr report say 251840 down from 268,000 at the end of 2018.
It was about 220K in early 2018 , then with the time warner merger last year it went up to 268k (John Stewark is now a co-worker),at the moment probably around 250k . I'm sure by years end their targeting sub 200k , possibly 180k if we have a major recession.
20 years in this department that had over 550 NCT's at one time and now its at 63 techs.
No one really knows at this point, but it's a LOT less than two years ago.
Or were we including Slovakia and India and all the contractors? Then it's probably about the same.
The area I work had 38 people across various departments (I&M, Construction, Central Office, Coin, and supply) when I started 31 years ago. We now have 7.
- AT&T has 268,000 Employees, per financial reports in 2018 (googled this)
- Not sure about Dallas, it really does not matter though
