They have notified our region that all branches will be dropping to almost half their current staff. My branch in particular has 6 PB’s that includes a licensed. One premier and a branch manager. They will be dropping it to three PB’s and one manger and premier. Other branches are being dropped to one banker and one manager. Also branch managers are expected to act as Bankers when needed.

What region is being talked about? Someone who posted clarify. Don’t just post thing you think people what to hear back it up with all the facts or don’t post. There is so much speculation in this site and honesty nobody what’s that.

This is true. It is coming down very soon throughout the company. 30% overall reduction in PB1's on average. More specialty banker roles less PB1's. They are looking at PB1s as service bankers and the specialty roles as sales bankers. They want pb1s to have 8 bids per day. Specialty roles will only be helping the segments that the were hired for. No more using them to order debit cards in a pinch. This is what happens when bankers become order takers and dont assess customer needs. It will be different from branch to branch depending on transaction volumes and mass vs affluent customer households. They wont be layoffs but as attrition happens the roles will not be filled. No need to stress about it.
