Per AFO Leadership it has been directed to multiple levels that the 3-15 deadline has been extended due to the widespread pandemic. Unfortunately many think that they were sparred from the layoffs that were to be announced today it it to the contrary, the surplus will be announced still albeit a month behind schedule but with that said you will only have 60 days to find an opening within the company or face off payroll dates which fall in as the same as before.

I'm not expecting an occupational announcement until June for those groups that would have been announced on Mar 13th. We're nowhere near peak on Covid-19.
If that's true if you cant find a job in 60 days they have to extend it 30 days per contract doesn't matter when they announce it. Atleast district 6 contract has that provision in it. They would be breaking the contract which opens them up to major lawsuits.
Stop getting worked up. It's very minor and the president has already taken care of it with travel restriction from Europe.
Every Field Tech that drops dead from the Chinese Rat Flu is one less payout. Saves on the angst of layoffs, saves on severance costs, still attains the reduction goals - pretty darn smart move unless we actually stay alive.
What a life just delay the surplus. Doesn’t get any better than that.
