Any thoughts? To me, it seems like some politicians didn’t get a fair crack at the banking industry during the housing crisis so they made up for it with wells. You also have some former bank employees who probably couldn’t escape the branch so they decided to be whistleblowers.
If you dig deep at any financial institution you’re likely to find corruption I mean the industry profits off holding peoples money and interest charged for giving people money who need it.
I always wonder if politicians realize these massive fines and asset caps hurt the everyday workers who are then subject to layoffs or being overworked due to layoffs more so than the executives with golden parachutes.

Didn't bother me I was hoping she could really burn that house down an obvious comment from an oblivious "YES MAN" for Well's. Let me guess you golf or used to be a wholesaler? How is all the comments from good employees concerning risks at wells treating you now. Guess what your next!
Not to get too political but warrens claim to fame was largely trading false claims of ancestry, false claims of employment dismissal due to pregnancy and other similar trending societal meme claims which have collectively made her wealthy beyond measure and even further beyond her abilities. I do not understand how she has not been brought up on Federal corruption and grand larceny charges.
The massive fines were in lieu of criminal charges.
So while I am offended by the OP's defense of corruption, I agree with he/she/they on one thing...
Instead of billion dollar fines, how about we perp walk upper management, including dragging Stumpf out of whatever country club he's sitting in now, and lock them up.
