The company does provide masks, hand sanitizer and even rubber gloves thanks to CWA. If your shop doesn’t have these items, I can give you the item ordering number. Don’t be a troll and mislead the reader. If you don’t like working for Verizon, move on. We union members have real fights to fight. Not false fights about hand sanitizer that you know you have in your warehouse.

CWA has blocked it before in the potomac region. Not the first time.

There are already RBOC 'work at home' call centers for over 10 years now. What is the problem?

I think you misunderstood....others are being forced to work from home. You will be forced to go to work to insure the others are able to work from home. You can't blame the union for that, that's up to management. We'll talk about your feelings when the next pulse survey comes out.......if you're still alive.

This is b—s—. Non customer facing employees are gonna be the least f—ing impacted. Retail locations are f—ed and all upper management keep saying is we will play ear by ear and business as usual. So basically until someone contracts it then we will decide what’s up. Get ready for a huge lawsuit. Cause f— these customers it’s about our health and life. But clearly money is more important. I heard the CWA was going to pass out free rolls of toilet paper to associates. Union benefits are the best. Unite brothers and sisters!

If the company cared about employees safety, they would be providing masks and hand sanitizer to outside field techs.....but I guess that's not in the budget.....

Those who can’t work from home, can’t work from home. Those who can, should be allowed to do so. The less people that are out better for everyone, in or out. Why would the union block this?

Calm down....take a deep breath.....if you're that worried about it, call in sick. I personally can't work from home, so should the company give me a paid month off until this blows over.... Or are you just another anti-union blowhard taking advantage of a bad situation.

Even if half the people started working from home it would make it safer for those that had to still come in to work at the same locations.
