Check your laws. They can be open as long as safety measures are being done. It looks like they are or it wouldn’t beallowed

Quit your job, Find a new one. Do everyone a favor. Conspiracies are real
Take videos and photos of their illegal business practices. Don’t show up for work, work somewhere else. Life’s too short
Complaining on this forum doesn’t work! Blow the whistle on them. Customers and employees take videos, take photos, record conversations. Proof will scare them
The problem is that the owner knows we are all low income people and we don’t matter. That we are not smart enough to know how to sue them. That we are all hicks selling their c-ap to more hicks. Think about it, to us employees that work there, we know what’s up at their stores. Suing Cabelas=rich people only pursue
Suing them is not useless!! It just takes one person to stand up and then others will follow.
Illinois and Indiana Cabelas still open. No sanitizer, no gloves, no masks, huge lines with people one foot from one another. But, hey let’s flock in like cows in line to be butchered. Let’s call ourself essential cuz we are self righteous a–holes. Hey let’s jus control people’s minds and tell them to work and k–l yourself too, while you are at it
Tracker has started terminating people in sales. Do you know of any layoffs in BPS? Which positions?
Why are we considered essential.
So we can sell guns and ammo to people who haven't any clue how to use them.
Johnny Morris you are supply the population with guns to k–l each other.
You should be proud..
It's all about the money.
I would like to see your family behind the counter or on the floor trying to get people to apply for a BIG Dollar in our pocket..
If you try to sue them rn I’d be useless and a waste of money you’d have to wait until an employee to catch the virus so you can sue them for negligence
How do you sue Bass pro, I'm all in. Take some money from this a–hole.
Where I live only 10 people can be in a store at a time and I work at footwear all I can really do is just piss on the floor while the time goes by even with the decrease of people coming into the store Jonny will keep the stores open to make as much or as little profit as he can this some b—s— to the highest level
The reason this company does this is because no one sues them!!!
If you want results then sue the owner. Writing on this “lay-off.com” gets you nowhere. Wake up people!
So if I see one more reply about March madness, I will throw up!!
Grow up you fools!
We are talking about our health and our life’s.
So got those of you who report how mad they are at this company on the same note you are hypocrites!!!
How dumb can you be, weirdos?
Sooo HR and GM n other managers hide in their offices. None of them wait on people.
They also work M-F and start at 6:00 am or 7:00 am and aren’t really exposed to germs. Why are the GM’s allowing managers to take weekends off, every week?
I guess they have pt time college kids run their store.
This company is a joke!!
Bass/Cabellas is worse company to work for EVER!!!!
How can this owner face the world!!
People are coming in cabelas with infants and young kids.
This isnt Disneyland.
Close the f in store.
Maryland isn't closed, we're open for curbside pickup
Whoever works at the Tampa store, contact your local government officials. They argued that we’re essential too and the city let us stay open until a few of us got in touch with the county reps. and let them know what’s going on and now we’re closed.
So BPS Leeds in Alabama is closed, all of California is closed, the one store in Delaware is closed, Gainesville FL is closed, Macon Georgia is closed, the one store in Maryland is closed, one of the two stores in Massachusetts is closed, BPS Branson in Missouri is closed, and then all of Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, is closed, Nashville Tennessee is closed, three stores in Texas are closed, and then New Brunswick is closed.
When do the rest of us get to close and quarantine our selves?
I work at the Tampa store and we are being told that we are essential, so we can’t close. We are told we are valued and “one big Bass Pro family”. Well this family is f—ed up and I think Grandpa Johnny is a greedy b–tard that might be going senile if he thinks guns and ammo are essential for a f—ing virus.
I work at one of the DC and we are busier now than before Christmas. The only thing that they are actively doing to "protect" us is placing more signs to remind us to wash our hands. They are actually running an add to hire seasonals to help keep up with the orders coming in. I work in a state that has a mandatory stay at home order and we are told we are "essential" and are to report to work. I have an auto immune disease and so I'm at higher risk, I used vacation time for this week but am terrified to have to make a choice between my health and my job come Sunday.
Just wondering if we weren’t running out of guns and ammo would they have implemented the 50 customers in the at one time rule. They certainly made sure they sold all they could before the weekend was over. Then decided they would be safe and limit customers. What a joke.
Savannah, GA has a mandatory shelter in place starting at midnight and we're being told to still come to work and argue with any authorities that we are necessary and essential. SMH. HR was even warning people that tardy policy was still in effect and that to make extra time getting to work
Shame them to the public.
We all need to go on Strike or walk out or something. Without employees they can't stay open. They don't pay sh– anyway. No hours, sh–ty pay. Ungrateful GMs
Michigan State Police said there's nothing they can do since we sell generators and water purification. Needs to go higher than them.
To the person who responded to me, this is Southeast CMM again. We did receive some signage for April. $25 Tell A Friend and $20 Extra Club Points on Firearms. I knew that corporate was closed and really I find that damning that they acknowledge the risk themselves but still expect us to be out here practically war profiteering, making money off people's panic with no regard to their employees safety. Watercooler talk with GM and GSMs is A.) That corporate doesn't care because the profit being made and/or B.) Bass Pro bit off more than it could chew buying out Cabelas and getting in bed with Capital One and they can't afford to close even though they do have provisions in place to pay everyone for two weeks of quarantine. I just think they aren't going to pull that trigger unless they absolutely have to or as we've seen been forced to.
BPS in Gainesville, FL closed
Johnny Morris has allowed his company to go to hell. F—ing greedy b–tard. Employees are expendable. Not worried about the employees getting sick or dying. Hire more tomorrow. This company let me go 6 years ago due to management reductions. It forced me to get off my a– and go into a profession I love and I am happier than ever and making a sh– ton more money. I encourage all employees to walk the f— out and find your true passion!
The rumor is the Macon Ga store had to close today because not enough associates showed up to run the store. Good for them. Glad to see employees taking a stand. Your life is more important then Johnny's money. I hope more stores have to close for the same reason.
Heard three stories from a family member that works at Cabela’s that concerns me.
1- they are not allowed to wear gloves or masks because it would panic customers. I would panic if they weren’t.
2 - had an employee come in to say they were exposed and were going to self quarantine. They literally walked in! They did not call.
3 - have an employee that has a mild fever and is still working...
To the CMM from the Southeast Bass Pro Shops: the reason why there are no tasks on Reflexis or signs on AccessVia is because of Corporate offices being closed. There is nothing to be completed because Corporate has not assigned it.
The Macon Ga store has closed.
Calling firearms and ammunition essential is BS. Law enforcement and military get their ammo from outside suppliers, not a hunting store. Items we sell are for personal use. In my opinion, people who had weapons before this pandemic, are the only people that need to have them. We are selling firearms to first time users and for what reason? Protection against what? It’s irresponsible. People are going to over react and hurt each other with all this tension and stress. Now is not the time to state firearms as essential so more people will flock to our stores thinking they need it without ever thinking of it before.
All the orders from the states about firearms and ammunition have it listed under "supplies for essential businesses and operations". This order means if you supply another business or operation with thier essential goods needed to operate then you can stay open. For firearms and ammunition, it would mean supplying such operations as law enforcment or the national gaurd and military. The company is playing off this just to profit as long as they can before the government realizes what they are doing.
It shows you the almighty buck is more important than employees health
I work at the Basspro in Macon GA, the Mayor says retail stores can stay open as long as they are doing what needs to be done to keep distance between people, WTH really we have a lot of people come in so we are being exposed to everything, this store in NOT A NEED store it is a want. If we were a store that sold mike, paper good and all that then I would not b–ch at all but we do not have things like that. They need to close this store and people need to keep there asses at home.
I’m in the bass pro in Florida and we still have easily over 50+ people waiting around in front of the gun counter. This virus will never end and will continue to spread. If 1 person has it within those 50 people they probably just gave it to another 10 by grabbing the same guns, using the same computer, standing about 2 feet from each other which in turn those 10 go home to their families and spread it amongst them too. People are even coming into our store just to pass the time since they are off of work and our stuck at home bored. It’s ridiculous.
