Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Delivering 5G at 4G-like speeds should be our motto!

Verizon 5G users continue to see the fastest average and peak download speeds, but with very low availability, while T-Mobile and AT&T are delivering 5G at 4G-like speeds that are less likely to impress consumers.

@1kgq+13VyaN3p "7 minutes to send a picture thru imessage the other day". Where was this? That sounds a tad suspect

Sounds about right for snake oil salesmen.

Pro Tip: Don’t know about android, but on iPhones if LTE is weak you can turn off LTE in cellular settings and the phone will switch to standard 4g, which if often stronger and will work for calling and limited data use.

I just wish they would put up more towers. I suppose FirstNet has sprouted a few, but still a lot of gaping holes in areas customers "live and work". Not in a small town either. Took about 7 min to send a picture thru imessage the other day.

Doesn't s— everywhere, but a decade after joining att, vz still schools us on network.

When I still had Verizon several years ago before our own mobile discount improved, I’d consistently get up to 100meg up and down on speed test no problem. I’ve never seen such speeds with T eve when right next to the tower. 😂

Oh and my absolute favorite is when ‘In Home Experts Of Nothing’ are desperately trying to hoodwink our customers into phones in terrible coverage areas, which seems is everywhere. When I mention that to them before talking to the customer they say they know.

Hey OP, do you actually work for AT&T? If so which area? I will become severely depressed if you work in the wireless sector.

ATT was first to bring fake 5G as "5Ge" with E for evolution. Next is 5gBS with BS standing for...........
