Once again IBEW is trying to pad their membership count by talking the company out of laying off so many prem techs and increasing the number of core techs to be laid off. Just like last year as they traded high paying CORE jobs to save some lower paying PREM jobs. They will always be willing to sell someone out. It’s normal Chicago politics, rob Peter to pay Paul, raise Paul’s taxes to payback Peter and family. This is what happens in a closed shop with an untrained mechanic at the helm with uneducated business reps trying to save themselves. FML

It’s about time they lay off core and not just the prem techs. After all they are the ones who voted yes on the contracts when prem techs are willing to strike each and every time.
Paul Wright is a total Joke. How is he a Union President?.
Ask Paul the mechanic how much we have to “donate” per member to Madigan for 2020 election. How’s that helping to save our jobs?
They won't be happy until there's just one guy covering every CO in Illinois and part of Indiana, maybe even lower Wisconsin, too. The equipment is getting so old and well past End of Manufacturer Support/RMA date that you end up making COTs drive from CO to CO pulling working cards out of lower utilized equipment.
