Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

We got stuck in a loser company.

Is it the employee's fault that management missed on every major decision, I don't think so. Could have we have left and tried to find a new opportunity, yes, but with 10-20 years of experience and not moving into a executive role somewhere, I don;t think many people leave companies. This is just a BAD situation that gets worse every year. Randy is a mo–n. John is a mo–n. Could not have made worse decisions. And, they have affected people's lives in a negative way.

employees can't do their job when they are being constantly marginalized. doesn't take a rocket science. it wasn't the employees that bought all those companies on credit.

Don't you just hate when it is everyone else's fault except you? And when everyone else is a mo–n except you?

The whole situation just makes me sick - lets not forget the useless Board of Directors. She is gone now but putting somebody from the local Dallas Chamber of Commerce running "Girls Incorporated" on the Board is one example and was just totally virtue signaling by RS and a totally free vote for anything he wanted to do.

Disgusting!!!!

No we didn't get stuck with a loser company, we got stuck with loser management that has prioritized short term gains over a long term vision for the future.

My friend got layoff last week after 26 years and next week will be his last day. She worked as the manager for customer service at the location around south of LA / north of OC area.

The beauty of it is that Randall and Stankey still make tens of millions to enrich themselves and live the lifestyles of elitist on the company dime. Multiple luxury homes, luxury cars, free healthcare, millions of free stock grants, enhanced pensions, private jet access all the while making bad decisions. A failed T Mobile merger that cost $ 4 billion in fees, A dying DTV business, overpriced merger with TW and a steaming product that uses a box!!
