Charlie was not defrauded. He knew what he was getting himself in to and had to be compensated as such because he knew he was going to get the riot act.
Literally no one else wanted the job.
Kind of like when we were trying to hire a new CISO. No one wanted the job and they had to hire some 5th string player.
The CEO was defrauded into accepting the job just like the rest of us. At least he has money to compensate.
After this you’d think it would be hard for him to come out w a harsh policy against WFH. Keep your Congressman on speed dial.
So much for that. Quite surprised there isn't more backlash against these moves of theirs in the news.
He also said he will commit to allowing employees who can do their work remotely to do so.
