Jeff is an absolute liar. Many have been fired and got to sign on with Luxoft to do come back and do their old job as a contractor. Off the ATT books, same job, less pay, no benefits.

Not accurate at all. Job is guaranteed for at most one year period. The game; decline the movement to the other company and you'll only have x duration to find a job within AT&T and everyone knows the duration is almost impossible.

This is the reason I don't tell people where I work when asked what I do. I reply I work for a major telecom and let it go at that. The very few times I let slip I work for AT&T I got a load of complaints about the horrible customer service, low stock price, the pss-poor UVERSE installations (when they were installing UVERSE)...the list goes on. This company is turning into a shthole 3rd world country right before our very eyes. Nobody to blame but senior leadership. How could anyone recommend anyone come to work here?

To much fanfare McSelfish started a program to attempt to communicate with employees. People are supposed to ask questions and he will answer them. Now, given his lying spree who could possibly trust his answers. His credibility is permanently shot. Not just lies but blatant, malignant, obvious lies. Disregard anything he says. He obviously can't be trusted ever again.

There is a segment of the company that has in sourced work from other companies. The employees and the work come in. Nearly 100% are international employees mostly in India. No US in sourcing.

shifting work to us? Has anyone ever heard of any company outsourcing jobs to T? Just curious. I have seen more than 10 batches of outsourcing bulk movements of jobs out and never once saw a single person come in.

I think pop & fresh is full of it and is picking words very carefully.... work probably means "they signed a phone contract with us in exchange for workers that they'll only keep for a year." And notice how he phrased it noone in billing is moving to Accenture. How many NOT in billing are moving there? And how many in billing are moving to somewhere other than Accenture? They love to pick and choose things that don't tell the whole story either.

And to others who've questioned the job guarantee–it's almost always 1 year guarantee and then 90+% are let go with essentially nothing because anything they get, if anything at all, is based on their 1 year service time wherever they were sent.

This looks like a business communications 101 form letter, in response to a customer complaint. Single narrative, appeal to readers emotion, limited supporting details in attempt to persuade. No bad, any grading assistant will give it credit.

Just one problem, the scale is way bigger than a single complaint as many others had pointed out. Unlike the old days where correspondences were on typed paper, social networks gave everyone the immediate 1st hand knowledge of what actually happened. T fat cats are noting but ancient dinosaurs, rotting from within.
