This is the only job I have ever worked for where the longer you have been with the company the less appreciated you are.

If they cannot climb the pole and it is part of the job, how are they going to do the job? Might be time to leave.

ATT is using the EZ Squeeze pole climbing to weed out the older employees.

Unfortunately, customer's have made the exact same comment. In the past, companies would value and reward the loyalty of long term customers. Now, if you've been with this company for a while they jack up your rates! They figure, if a customer has been with this company for a long time they won't bother to switch.
WRONG! Feedback I have received from former and soon to be former customers shows how upset they are with this company's lack of appreciation to long term customers.
The current leadership of this company, out of greed, has managed to alienate both their formerly loyal long term customers and their employees.
Maybe you are less appreciated because you are doing less.
