i like how the streaming at&t tv is 2 minutes behind the uverse. this should be great for watching live sports.

Where are all these reviews?
yay 2 year commitment which is longer than all 10 of my marriages
It’s true. The platform that U-verse is on has the potential of providing 4K delivery and enhanced features if they had invested. Arris sells a full suite of updated backend hardware and customer premise 4K enabled equipment for IPTV that has the option of running Android TV on the box.
No matter how much whipped cream and polishing they put on this t–d, it still stinks! In the past 5 years U-Verse has been completely neglected yet is still light years ahead of this cr#p.
Just think of how much better off this company would have been if instead of giving away $billions to T-Mobile and blowing a fortune on DTV and Time-Warner, we had invested in fiber to the prem and in keeping U-Verse up to date?
@cfl: the primary purpose of AT&T TV is TO LAY TECHNICIANS OFF!!! Randall and Stinky want a device that they can drop ship to the customer via UPS and have the customer perform a self install, thus eliminating the need for installers to be dispatched to the customer's house.
So hel! no we're not going to root for Randall's lame attempt to replace us with this half-as$ service.
They continue to think that by saying it’s a great product it is!! Same ole delusional ATT.
it's not any different, it's at&t packaging up the same thing and trying to make it seem like it's different. The biggest issue, it's the same product with now a contract..which is the opposite of what people wanted.
the whole thing makes no sense..why would offer a product that people are trying to get rid of? Makes no sense.
I thought the box itself being andriod would be it's saving grace, but it's slow and constantly freezes up.
i got att tv for my fiance as a v day gift. the next day she dumped me. following day i signed up for tinder but i got no signal on my att fake 5g phone, signed, lonely and stup1d
an 80 year old customer just called the service center saying the hdmi cable from the att tv box don't fit right into the coax port on his analog tv. i offered a truck roll for $200 to resolve the issue.
the thing i love the most about att tv on android box is the quick channel changing. 2 seconds per channel is quick right?
15 techs ? Then one supervisor should be there.....it’s a hopeless situation!
i love the service! signed, randa11
i will post an unbiased positive review of att tv once the 15 techs in my house can get it to work. i got the best of the best union techs here hooking it up.
The real lolz is that you have 1 Mbps internet.
the first thing college kids will do when they move into their dorms is sign up for att tv as these kids just love linear tv and hundreds of useless channels. they love qvc and hsn so they can call up a toll free 800 number and have porcelain figurines shipped to their dorms in 2-4 weeks. this product will be the talk of the town and trending on social media. kanye will be posting pics of his android box on IG. people lining up for masks and food at costco will be instead heading to att stores to buy this great box!
Will this work on my 1 mbps att DSL line that I pay $69/month for? LOLZ
I don't understand they hype they're trying to generate around this. Is it basically the same product they've been offering in Direct TV Now but with bait and switch pricing and a remote control that can use voice commands?
It's an honest question - how is it significantly different?
RIP to sales people's commission income. Good luck meeting whatever ridiculous quotas they set up for this.
But it looked so glorius in the PowerPoint that they were able to actually raise prices in 2021.
Anybody remember the cloud drive for mobile devices. It only folders they had for you and you could not create your own folders. Brilliant just brilliant. When you have the same “high performers” or the top 80% percent making the same decisions for the streaming product you know it isn’t going to be good. But go ahead and get of the “lower20% “ because they spoke their mind about the direction of the products and they were not yes men.
Did you expect anything else but a bad product that is over priced.
Are you seriously already cheering for this to fail? What, you want to be laid off? I don't get some of you people.
