I realize the grass is not always greener, but here it just keeps getting worse every single day. The leadership is terrible. It's like they are on a mission to destroy Verizon completely. And I don't see things improving any time soon. If the goal is to get us to quit, I must admit it's working.

Anybody that seriously thinks the pulse survey is anonymous is an id–t. Why do you think it is sent to your email and should not be forwarded? Just ask your peers what time and day they received the pulse email they will all be different times and different days. The pulse survey is a tool that will help them to know who is for the company and who is against the company. In other words, who stays and who goes.
Yes. @2peq.. Our small team were also asked to explain (by our new manager) about some negative pulse responses that had been given. A silence followed!! In our opinion it is not/no longer anonymous.
yep, they do see our individual responses on the survey. we had a big team call on why we answered certain ways. no survey is truly anonymous there.
@OP+13MUN7cD: “Speaking as a retiree with many years of service: never, ever, ever express your "true" thoughts on an employee survey. Just tell them what they want to hear.”
That’s ridiculous. I’ve worked here for a very long time and always told them the good, the bad and the ugly in their surveys and never was asked or told about it. Nobody I work with was ever asked or told about what they put down in the survey, ever.

is there a recognition for “talent” to know they is significant attrition ? People get worked up more for cancelling contractors than major engineering contributors leaving.
Beware of the VZ Pulse survey. I was asked about a response that a member of my 8 person team had put in, The AD asked if it was me, how crazy? Can't believe leadership is allowed to see the surveys done by team member, while it's anonymous, they can still make best guesses because they can see responses done by hierarchy/position.
I guess it depends on what job you have at Verizon. I don’t have any stress in my job, my co-workers feel the same. We are Switching Equipment Technicians, so maybe put in for it.
Then quit. The job will never love you back. Talent leaving is the best way to punish bad leadership.
The “rule of 55” is going to my savior unless another VSP rolls through in a year or two.
make your voice heard on their stupid pulse survey. this company has gone to c-ap: clearly trying to replace us with India
I took VSP and left end of 2018. I didn't truly realize how much aggravation and stress VZ was creating in my life until it was gone. Amazing relief.
