Shutting down COR will destroy all of retail. They're the channel that provides the extremely bloated, fake numbers. AR's actually feels the hits when those fake numbers become chargebacks and affect their profits. COR has the financial backing of such things as your monthly bill payments, not the 1 time commissions and possible residuals like AR's.

Authorized franchises will exist because there's little to no overhead for AT&T, plus they don't pay for any benefits for those employees.
