For BCP and telecommuting, etc., we certainly have a need to know.

My point was that this is not the place to ask about a virus, a science blog would be more appropriate.

How it impacts relocation and telecommuting is important, but it's more important to NOT get your critical news from a comments section.

@djf - this is quite appropriate. I asked the question about BCP when part of my team's work was off-shored. At the time, I was concerned about civil unrest preventing staff abroad from getting to the office. I made sure that my on-shore team stayed up to date with the processes by bringing back the work a couple days each month.

Can't say what is going on now, I left WF for an entity that won't be off-shoring - aka a union.

And telecommuting should be required, whenever possible, to mitigate the spread of the virus!!!!

Latest stats I see say there are 3 confirmed infections in India. Great resource I’m using is:

Also just let me say this: talking about the coronavirus on this forum is more than appropriate. The potential threat that this disease presents to the global economy cannot be overstated. If this virus badly hurts businesses, then they will respond with damage control that will include massive layoffs

Maybe ask somewhere else? This is a forum for people who have been or will be or are wondering if they'll be laid off.
