with customers that we are here to screw you. Whether it happens or not that reputation had been branded into the marketplace mentality. Simplicity and straight forward services and billing has never happened. Now that very same reputation and practices has turned itself on the employee base. You have psychopaths running the company ho never acknowledge their mistakes yet have been given free reign to continue. Elliot was the first to call them to task but I think things are far too gone and the marketplace will have a field day picking off ATT customers. In about 10 years their will be business cases on how ATT failed and Stephenson, Stankey, and The Board will be named countless times. Imagine the beast ATT could be if they grew organically the past 10 years focusing on Spectrum, Fiber, and Wireless. Time Warner will be another dud as creativity and valuable content cannot materialize under the ATT culture.

Serving customers is sustaining costs and doesn’t fit in with Randy’s creative accounting.
They cannot shed that reputation because they cannot handle customer service. It's sad and annoying. I recently needed to make some changes that couldn't be done online. It took over an hour, 3 calls and about 6 people. One told me to call back. Another told me I called the wrong number and gave me the one I JUST called. I can only imagine how a "real" customer feels vs an employee. There is no focus within the company and still so much not consolidated that should have been done long ago. Execs are so busy chasing the next big thing there is no follow through on what we currently have. They all seem to need some serious ADHD meds. Actually, they need a big 'ol boot out the door but they'd have to make a new door instead of using the one already there.
