Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Sambar Town Hall Fuzzy Math

In a previous post, it was quoted that the reductions at the executive level were 52%. It was by far the largest reduction compared to any other level (level 2 was 33%). The smallest pre-reduction headcount at level 6 would have to be 19 (reduction of 10 would equal 52.6%). A pre-reduction HC of 21 with 11 eliminations would equal 52.4%. Any HC lower than that would have a higher percentage reduction.

First, can anyone comment on the possibility of there having been around 20 L6's in the organization?
Second, can anyone comment on there having been 10-11 L6 positions eliminated or MVO?

Was the post a misquote or are all the percentages provided by Sambar just BS and he "cooked the books"? I'd like to see some comments regarding how many L6 positions were actually eliminated since only percentages were given not actual numbers.
