Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Reaction of HR and Management when you filed an EEOC Complaint

I am about to file an EEOC complaint for gender, age and disability. Can those of you who have filed an EEOC complaint with Wells Fargo tell me what happened when you did it. Did they fire you, force you out, fix the situation, or move you. Would really help to hear from others who have been through a similar situation, so I can gauge how it will play out. By the way, I am in Corporate Risk. Thanks

What was the end result of your situation? Did you file, if yes, what was the process-outcome?

"You enter a new level of protection called whistleblower which prohibits retaliation and they take it seriously."

Sure they do.

The moment you file a complaint they try to single you out and discrimination, retaliation and you need to be extra careful because they will demote you and find a small things to kick you out the door . When filing a complaint be prepared that anytime they all find out get documentation that you been treated that way the next thing you know they will demoting you where you will quit . I was there and I was one of top performers on my team .

If your complaint is lawsuit worthy, get an attorney. Wells does not want lawsuits so they will offer a monetary settlement which you can counter, accept or turn down. Good luck to you.

Nothing will actually happen to the company or management. What will happen is massive retaliation and a never ending campaign to push you out. If that doesn’t work then expect to be put on an action plan for some trumped up charge that will eventually lead to firing. The new and easy way out for them seems to be simply “reorganizing” problem people out of their jobs. I backed up a coworker who had similar complaints and within a few months I was laid off.

Your situation is bleak WF like any company does not protect the employees but it's management which are proxies of the company. If you're already being retaliated against you need to get a lawyer who can demand that you get a severance and settlement as you're already being kicked out.

By the time you've filed a case with the EEOC they would've already fired you and you still need to get a lawyer. You can't win unless you can get a settlement and just quit and never return, which is the best way. There is no justice they have the uppethand always so get a lawyer if toure6being pushed out so you can quit.

Read the case Koutellos vs Wells Fargo to learn what really happens, log into Pacer and download her complaint. She had an excellent case with lots of evidence of not only discrimination but massive retaliation. Boeing offered her 35k (let you work a few more months) and her norma 20k bonus, in other words offered her nothing.. she refused the offer and they immedietly fired her and EEOC did PH*CKING NOTHING!!!!!!!! Shocking... I just went through an identical situation as her and filed my charging document last week so I'm sure I'll get fired as well.. . I won't be paid off with a couple months pay after what I experienced over the last two years and what I saw in the risk group, they can keep their 55k, I'll head straight to the OCC and every regulator they've been lying too saying they don't retaliate.

As long as your documentation is good and factual and you provide a witness list, they will cave quickly (after a few denials). You enter a new level of protection called whistleblower which prohibits retaliation and they take it seriously. If your complaint is not well documented (just complaining about how you feel), they will try to push you out slowly so as not to give the appearance of retaliation. Come on strong and steadfast right out of the gate and you will win.
