Sorry team, you don’t get squat, except a swift kick in the drawers.

I'm not sure of the context here but if managers are performing work duties that wouldn't meet the flsa standard to be exempt, then maybe. Look up AT&T and flsa lawsuits.
On the department of labor website you can find the legal standards

The short answer....NO. 1B Network Managers are OT exempt. You accept that fact and being on a duty rotation when you accept the job. That said, you do have options:

  1. Ask your peers if they will voluntarily pick up some extra duty weeks from you
  2. Talk to your Area Manager about you possibly covering “ONLY” your area 24/7 with a designated backup when on PTO
  3. Cut a personal check to any of your peers who would volunteer to take your duty weeks (Not advisable as this could end up being a payroll/tax/COBC problem)
  4. Find another job where 24/7 coverage isn’t part of the job description

No. You gave up that right when you accepted a position designated as 'management'.

in my long career 9 out 11 managers were technologically handicapped & incompetent to do the job, but they had friends that kept promoting within.

Only if there is a lawsuit for network managers getting all of the pay raises just because they supervisor people. I thought management increases and bonus was supposed to be about merit. Nope it is the same as craft.

No most are s— asses that haven’t been getting paid for time worked in years . Managers used to have your back and had good results from there crew . When this team c-ap all started it seemed to shift for the worse . I wish first second and third lines would stand up to upper management they all know how bad that things have been run for years now . The company ran off the good ones .
