How is the service? Don't want to pay full price once I am off the payroll.

I'm looking at Cricket (uses AT&T network) at 4 lines for $100 which is cheaper than T-mobile.
Was looking into SPECTRUM MOBILE for when I lose my active employee discount. They use VERIZON service.

Att prices are not their true advertised price so buyer beware and make sure you know the real cost.

Xfinity Mobile user here. No issues and saved a lot over my employee discount. And no made up fees.
For people giving at&t prices they don’t include all the bogus fees. So look at total price.
As a retiree, I did switch to T-Mobile: got new 4 new iPhone 11, unlimited magenta plan and my bill is almost half of what I was paying to AT&T with my discount. The service is OK, the service was not perfect with AT&T either. So far have been happy.

Depends on where you live,work and play. In most places T-Mobile matches T for coverage and in my area, beats the speed test, all at a lower cost. If you are over 55 yrs old, the T-Mob over 55 plan for $35/mo/device is hard to beat anywhere.
For folks that have Xfinity (Comcast) Internet, check out their Mobility offering. They operate on Verizon's network and the cost is super competitive with the bundled service.
Check out Google Fi prepaid service. It uses T-Mo and Sprint as networks. If your phone supports seamless network switching it will automatically attach to who has better network quality.
Prices are competitive. You can buy unlimited or pay as you consume data at $10 per GB. If you don't use an entire purchased GB you receive a credit for the unused portion that is applied to your next month.
Really did you all compare the plans today to see if it really is cheaper? Rolling my eyes.
T-Mobile is way better in my area. Switch you won’t regret it. Buy an unlocked phone from the manufacturer then you won’t be tied dowan or locked in. I heard ting is pretty good along with spectrum but you have to be spectrum internet customer. I think I am going to give ting a try next. All I want is big dumb pipe.
my T-Mobile plan is much cheaper than T. As for coverage, as others said, it could vary where you live. Here T-Mobile is as good as T and costs less; the price difference to get better service with Verizon is not worth the cost to me.
Switched over a year ago after surplus and still happy. For the exact same service the price was cheaper than with employee discount and better yet, remained the same every month. Of course location, just like the t, plays a part and metro areas seem better than rural. This is most likely to change if the merger goes through.
Had a family member switch off our plan onto T-Mobile and they said it s—s.
Again check att plans they have pretty good unlimited plans and have good service. Don’t bite off your foot to spite your hand.
