AT&T to Buy Starbucks, John S. Convinced he knows how to make their coffee better,

It was announced Friday that AT&T had surplused enough employees to make another multi billion dollar acquisition to put them back in debt again. In true AT&T acquisition strategy tradition, it bought a business totally unrelated to its core competencies (telco) and bid to acquire Starbucks. John S. has been tasked as head barista in addition to his other leadership role. John S. is quote as saying, “I will level up Starbucks coffee the same way I leveled up the final season of Game of Thrones”. Shares of AT&T fell again... Just kidding... happy holidays and best wishes in workplace 2020!

Shady thing is, when customers order new service they aren’t told about it

It’s in the fine print. Nothing shady at all. They should read what they sign.

Att started reducing debt months ago by charging it’s customers after they cancel, they are getting billed until the end of their billing cycle. Shady thing is, when customers order new service they aren’t told about it, so when they call to cancel, the T still gets paid!

“ I heard we were buying the rights to Beta & VHS tapes and we have a master plan to introduce them into this world of modern technology.”

Yes!! And many don’t know that high definition VHS was available way before HD dvd. Except the tapes and vcr were ungodly expensive. But with our great minds at the top here we could pull off the reboot!!

I heard AT&T is buying all the vineyards to enhance employee multi-tasking skills while increasing wine production during conference calls. If you reach your step goal (wine smashing grapes with your feet) of 10,000 steps a day, you are entitled to a free glass of wine. Win-win for all of us!!

I think people come to this website as I believe it is very therapeutic for them and to vent to fellow employees as well as to get information about layoffs. It is very healthy to do so in light of the heavy weight many are carrying worrying about their jobs and job security on a daily basis. Some of the content is unnecessary and is not always politically correct. However, humor is a good deviation from worry, depression and folks should take a lot of what is said here in jest with a grain of salt. Similar to the way SNL mocks the President and other Washington Politicians etc. Lighten up.

They could probably buy us at this point. And they would probably have a better chance at successfully running a phone company than AT&at would at making coffee.

I don't want to spoil the surprise but I also heard that 2Q 2020 T plans on purchasing " a major manual typewriter" manufacturer and then making it a seemless end to end customer experience by acquiring a worldwide fleet of carrier pigeons.
