AT&T lies to get the FCC to give in knowing there is no follow up by the FCC on promises they made. Stephenson learned that game from Whitaker who fleeced shareholders and the FCC over and over without punishment.

@-yju the intellect of your reply is what I expected from someone that actually believes what the president says. It must be nice for you having a president with the same level of intelligence as his dedicated followers, but most of us would like a smart and honest president.

That is why I left on my own and working for an ethical company that hires Americans and the ceo doesn’t lie. Already got a promotion and bigger bonus because we want to keep ALL customers. It is such a friendlier environment no employees looking down on others just because they are on a surplus list. We actually have a policy of not hiring relatives lol.

Did anyone truly believe that randall would give up his hard earned money to the people that actually work ?? The better question is why when other companies actually keep their promise does nobody step in to hold randy accountable for his lies make them payback the money cause we all know nobody wants to work here anymore this place is toxic just riding the wave till it crashes at this point

@-phs, it was not legal for AT&T to turn over the phone records of the president. AT&T now owns CNN, fake news with TDS. Stankey, is who and what is behind all the radical liberal extremism that is what has doomed this company.

Why would anyone expect AT&T to be any more honest about the Trump tax cuts than the ones that came up with them? It was all just lies to the id–ts that voted for them to justify a giveaway to the 1%. Sad part is that those id–ts still don't get it.

Not even verizon lays off switch techs, not at&t, they gave all 26 of us the axe today (legacy t)

I hope your customers enjoy people from other countries that can barely speak english, cannot read the notes to a customer that are right in the trouble ticket.

Tbh after last through layoffs since 2002 about 34 of em in total it is a bit of relief to stop worrying. Time to move on to somewhere that will appreciate the work you do and treat you like a person instead of a number.

Thanks for 21 years at&t but to lay people off 2 weeks before xmas. All the people involved in that should trip and fall on a di*k
Scumbags

As a populace, we are being fleeced. And all the while, distracted by technology, division,
and promises of better lives, if you will just follow the herd. BAU.

Interesting that they bring this up, They should have well known that AT&T had plans in the works long before the tax cut was thought of, and long before it became law to reduce the workforce by at least 1/3 of the 300K employees at the time. Jobs they said they would create are those of vendors and contractors that build the network. They never said they would hire that many people, even as we know they are hiring specific jobs in specific places, all the while reducing people where the business dictates.
