Agreed about the outsourcing IT. A lot of issues are because the company not trusting anyone. Most tests are redundant or not needed, they have no bearing on completing the task. It’s out of control which, results in higher HPC (hours per completion), more stress for Techs trying to meet all of these unnecessary expectations and customers waiting much longer for issues to be resolved. Repeats & surveys use to be the gauge by which customer service was measured.

It’s become more about big data micro-management (big fail) and a bloated bureaucracy that’s trying to protect their work. The Customers and Techs are very frustrated. We need to go back to basic tools, the customer and techs will greatly benefit.

"Seems like I spend an inordinate amount of time watching a spinning square, circle or some other object waiting on the software to open or close. Reboot, clear cache log back in many times until it finally works. "
You get what you pay for. If you outsource your IT to some 3rd world software company, you get 3rd level quality. (not top quality)(

@1use

The combined 30 minutes + time to open & close a job, wasn’t including the time it takes to actually work the dispatch. It was time for dealing with DAP, GCAS, Quality, Realtime, ATLAS, Smart chat, AVA, Translore, Mobile Key and all the other tools software tools that only work half the time. Very frustrating!!

I’ll probably be bumped this time around, but I imagine the next quarter is going to be a blood bath for Core. Especially for the ST title. Truly believe there will be no ST or OPT titles left in company in next few years or less.

@mgy, those numbers are on a GOOD day when this company's sh!t is even working. Since AtlAss and the cloud based quality tests and equipment activation have an outage as often as not, it can take far far longer just to complete and close our stupid jobs!

Hmmm, with all these endless outages, you would almost think someone was fed up and sabotaging this place...

In the Field, they put you on a coaching plan. It’s to bully, track and question your every move by an non to less experienced manager. Example: call your manager every 2 hrs & explain what’s taking so long on your dispatch despite, the hour drive to get to the customer. They act like you are the worse Tech in the world & don’t know the job, even with 19+ years experience with awards and no discipline in all those years. TOXIC!!

They don’t understand all the recent added tasks added alot of time to a dispatch. True Testing, WiFi survey, 3rd cone, continually lock all doors even working next to vehicle, etc.. The software tools we use to test & close work very poorly due to poor cell signal, continual updates and patches, bloated added pages of info. that experienced techs don’t need. We use to have 2 pages on dispatch & close that worked very well for years. It now takes 30 min combined to open and close jobs more times than not.

(HPC) Hours per completion is the flavor of the week. It affects bonus and the pecking order for managers.

Who is going to do all the work these folks do? Is it being outsourced?
