Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

A glimpse at just how much our company and customer service is reviled https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.att.com

Take a look at just what Randall has done. It's no wonder no one has any confidence in this company anymore.

Page after page of bad reviews.

A truly stunning read but not a surprise. I am a former DirecTV Tech now Prem Tech who has the dubious honor of standing inside of our customers homes on a daily basis. In the 13 years I have been in this business, I have gone from hearing words of praise for how DirecTV was run to now, dodging flecks of spittle as these same customers spew their disgust and hatred for what we have become. To a person, they blame the takeover by AT&T. I find it difficult to disagree.

My new cell service is so much faster than att. More reliable in my area too actually works in my basement office. Wished I switched years ago. No more att services for me. Randy and John are nothing but toxic snake oil salesmen. Nothing good about them or att.

The sad part about this, Randy doesn't care. Just like they don't care about employee surveys. He gets his fat check no matter what.

Just a hunch but don’t think we’ll be seeing a NPS for quite awhile if at all. Too many consecutive quarters / years of negative feedback will just find their way down the Death Star memory hole

Many moons ago when the first ACD was put in place to route customer calls, we had a district manager make one of those feel good visits. He ask us what customers didn’t like. First thing out was the ACD and customers waiting 20 minutes on hold. His response was that “customers need to learn that there are millions of them out there and they are not as important as they think they are”. They have been proving that point every day since.

Where’s the pro spinners at eh???? Those aren’t employees complaining and whining you feckless dolts up there!!

Almost every customer I visit in the field has the same complaints as those posted there. The forever deceptive in-house and 3rd party sales. The poor incompetent non English slave support. Substandard in home services where fiber isn’t available. It’s all driving people away and they won’t be back. Eventually hopefully they’ll run out of people to scam.

These are just bad customers. At&t needs better, more grateful customers. We need customers like Verizon & Tmobile have. We also need better employees, we need employees like Verizon has. We need better investors too, our investors s—. We need investors like Google & Netflix have, then we'll be all set.

However, T can spin NPSs to make a positive out of these results!
