AT&T says TV losses have peaked after latest loss of 1.3 million customers

"AT&T thinks its TV-customer losses have peaked, but that isn't saying much, as the company has lost 5 million subscribers since 2016 and more than 1.3 million in the most recent quarter alone."

Don’t forget the low altitudes 3,000+ satellite going up for competition 5g & WiFi is gonna be a tough business

I wonder how much money they will give me if they fall in my back yard and k–l my dogs?

Yeah and don’t forget Verizon and T-Mobile will be in the 5g game big time. And with Comcast WiFi being everywhere acting as a towerless mobile network and they’re Verizon partnership I don’t see an edge for T.

so glad I left this toxic company. everyone is so worried about what they want to do and have their own little safe environment where they think they have become experts in their field. what a joke.

It will stop peaking when they no longer have any subscribers.

It would be nice if it launches along with an expansion to GOT or some kind of exclusive new content as additional motivation to subscribe. If there are no plans to launch something associated with GOT in the next few months whomever decided to shut it down right after acquiring ownerships is an id–t!

I hope hbo next? Whatever new name will pick up the slack when released! In test now. Everyone else seems to love streaming if they put a good product out (get all the bugs out)& price it competitive.

This John knows his is way over his head but too proud to admit it publicly, probably taking a lot of medications for blood pressure, diabetes, sleep disorders, etc.
Why does he keep sacrificing all that, his own health, to form part of a gang pillaging a once great performing Telecom company?
Guess feeling important around other ppl closed the deal with the devil for the Johns with Randy.

This company's management have always lived in a fantasy world of their own creation. A random id–t at the top makes up a story and brainwashed management on down the line accept it without question. Critical thinking skills are not in large supply at this place.

proof will be numbers .. but it will be false (imo) numbers for example:

  1. existing customers switching from DTV to Uverse or vice versa
  1. new wireless customers getting free AT&T app (formerly DTVNow) video services
  1. existing customers switching from copper (vdsl) to fiber (will prolly pseudo count those as new hook-ups)
  1. existing customers calling in for a repair will be told they can get repaired and get more services (video and upgraded internet speeds) for cheaper

just a few (abeit) shady ways to boost numbers that (imo) arent garnering new customers .. just s—ing more blood from the ones we have

Normally, when there are such acquisitions, and then subsequent losses, people get fired. Apparently someone has something of someone else and that's they they are still here flying the plain into the side of the mountain.
