On a funnier note, with decades of experience doing the same job, I used to telecommute FT and now am relegated to driving to a collaboration zone. So I lose a few hundred dollars a month in gas and car maintenance, that can’t be made up with a raise because the company is poor and has a bucket the size of a thimble when it comes to management raises, whatever.... I send my wife a picture daily of myself sitting alone in a sea of 20 drop in spaces with no one else using them. I’ve lost all confidence in AT&T Leadership. To all the craft ever considering management, do not be fooled, don’t do it. The initial bump you get with a promotion is eaten up by .25%-1% raises annually.
