telecom exec's can't run world class competitive media companies. sorry, but T exec's are not the smartest guys in the room in every regard, contrary to their belief. telecom guys know telecom. media guys know media. see how wall street bets the next 6 to 12 months on T and find out.

Stankey had to let go of all of the executives at Warner so that his claim of knowing more about tv than anyone there might be believable.
