Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

More Marketing layoffs and reorgs last few days

Looks like sr. mgt.is anticipating Scharf's axe and deciding to make staff changes before he does. Many layoffs the past few days (which will definitely continue throughout 2020).

Right before the holidays. Typical Wells Fargo.

If they think those cuts will spare them from even deeper cuts, they are wrong. This company lost its way (and soul) a long time ago.

All the lives affected by incompetence, arrogance, and corruption. And everyone who remains (for now) acting like its business as usual.

They laid off a big group in San Francisco last year. About 90 minorities who have worked in their service, implementations and operations positions ranging from 1 year to 40 years. They kept executives like H. Magaha who really don’t care about employees but smile and act like they do. They hired new employees for less money with less experience in Southern California and outsourced them overseas for pennies. Shameless and sad.

If what the person below says is true it's news to the IHA. They're sure WF is going to be firing agencies and bringing the work in-house. The IHA is better, faster, more creative, and knows the business and the customer inside and out. Just ask them.

The in house creative agency at Wells Fargo is a complete joke. Poorly managed and run would be an understatement. There have been rumblings of it breaking up... too costly to maintain, too large, too long to get anything done and extremely underwhelming creative.

No idea why they even have an In House Agency. It takes then FIVE months to put together a simple email an outside agency could handle in a matter of days.

Of course that’s including the multiple rounds they have to go through to get the simplest messaging right.

You nailed it! Attrition by misery.

How do these people sleep at night? I really hope karma gets them in the end. The Golden Rule is a foreign concept at WF.

They are making things impossible and finding ridiculous reasons to terminate team members. Awful.

So many incredible people let go in the past two weeks. SMH.
