B) Competent Leadership - and no I don't mean John Stanky either!
C) A strong union that fights like h@ll for its workers and their futures.

I got an MVO severance package and a better paying job. Biggest X-mas gift I've ever received.
@nag - the vote was fraudulent and the contract is garbage. The CWA counts absent votes as votes for the contract. Many people never received ballots, they were automatic yes votes. Many people didn't bother to vote, they were automatic yes votes.
Midwest worked a year without a contract and the union never bother to see that they received back pay for that period. The new contract made them poorer.
So yes, we need a better union.
Didn’t the Midwest and Southeast contracts both just get ratified (The Southeast one went on the 1st round without delay)?? Does the membership not have to vote for ratification?? What’s this strong union c-ap all about??

@wic, reasonable job security, competent ethical leadership, and a union that actually works for its dues paying members shouldn't be that unusual. The fact that it is while you have incompetent mo–ns like Randall and Stanky lining their pockets as they destroy their companies shows that we have a major problem.
Give yourself your own Christmas present and find a job on the gravy train. Only place you can work is the Gooberment to get what you are asking for. Backed by the full faith and Guns of the Gooberment which steal taxes. They still get pensions, get pension increases, and in some cases get a pension with only 20 years service and some get 100% of their salary as a pension.
Wish I had signed up for that instead!
