What’s coming for surpluses in 2020? Still adding ARSMs in most markets. Will we continue to see additional headcount due to all of the new doors we’re adding?

Surplus's are going to be all too common now a days. Nobody is safe unless your name is Randall Stephens, At&t is sole company the destroyed DirecTV and they will destroy Time Warner too when that time comes. Time Warner employees need to watch out for the surplus era cause it will come. I was surplussed January 24, 2020, off payroll February 14, 2020, the new Valentine’s Day m—acre.
It is unfortunate that their is so much animosity between all the departments at this organization. We're all in the same sinking boat here at this point.
No idea to be honest, although most new locations that have opened are AR. They’ve opened ATTR as well, but from what I’ve heard is the same as most- most ATTR locations will turn into AR, the high profit and flagships staying corporate. No idea when, but best guess is within a year, the company figures why pay employees plus healthcare, real estate etc when they can outsource to AR. When the last union agreement was signed in my area, orange district, the reps were told if their location closed down they’d be offered a position in another location however they did not specify a corporate location. We shall see- I know many people on this site dislike retail, but we’re not all bad. Some of us took a job when things were good, pay is good, benefits ok, thinking we’d have a career, big mistake on many of us. Everything’s changed for the worst , so keep your eyes open and do what you need to do for yourself and your families.
