Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Restaurant AT&T

I would like the advertised special cheeseburger , fries, and coke for $5. I received the bacon cheeseburger, fries, and Sprite and was charged $7 plus a $1 convenience fee for the drink top and straw. That is AT&T in a nutshell with all of their services.

Costs: I don't get it. When I was employed by AT&T I had 4 cell phones and a 5git data limit which cost me something like $120 per month (including employee discount). Once T surplused me I found Comcast for my cell phones. Get this.....since I was already a Comcast customer I moved all our phones (4) plus my parents (1) to Comcast with a 3gig data limit for $43 per month. I don't understand how Comcast (partner w/Verison) program can give me the same service for 1/3 the cost. Why was or is AT&T so expensive.

I wish all of you who are still AT&T employees the best of luck in keeping your job and in whatever job satisfaction you can have. As for me, since T dropped me I'm not going to use their servers for the foreseeable future.
