Congratulations to AT&T on record profits. Bringing in a record $97.65 Billion in profit the last 12 months. It's been nothing but up since only $24 Billion in 2005. All us employees with 20 to 30 years of stable employment with AT&T should celebrate another year of success.

Well profits are soaring but so is debt. Thanks to the piles of debt from our leadership the work force must be eliminated. The share holders and board do not like debt nor employees that have benefits and god for bid pensions. The only way senior leadership knows how to eliminate debt is to eliminate employees. This is corporate America and many companies have done what AT&T has been and will continue to do.
That's what the $600K bribe to Michael Cohen was about. And all the other bribes AT&T has paid that haven't yet come to light.
Randy isn't going to miss any meals, and that's all that matters once regulators have been bought off.

Wasn't some of that $97 billion because they spent a lot of money on other companies? Yea, it wasn't because T was more profitable, they just bought a lot of debt.
Yeah pretty disgusting and they still have to sell employees with 20 or 30 years of service like slaves or have them train their cheaper replacements. Or better yet tell them they are obsolete and give their job to a college hire with no pension. Good job! The asset management trolls must of had a directive for the new to start filling this site with pro-company posts.
Nor does the AT&T Corporation pay their fair share of taxation to this nation. While we, the workers pay for this nation's government and services, the largest corporations and richest citizens receive tax loopholes from their bought and paid for politicians.
