Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T TV National Launch March

Just cancel it already. The nightmare of situations is going to make this an unmitigated disaster. Some cable providers have hard caps, 1TB, that this service will eat up if used everyday.

Will never get it because I know att will always be the most expensive because of Randy’s creative accounting.

I’m liking it
Except the fast forward and rewind should be better full screen
The ui is blocky and has been a little glitchy

If it's anything like AT&T TV, just stay away. I used what they claim is a DVR feature to record some of the football bowl games and when trying to play them back, I got errors like "Oops we are experiencing problems please try again or play some other content". Trying again would often blame my network performance. When it did actually start, the slightest glitch on their end would reset the program back to the beginning–then when I tried to fast forward, that would reset it back to the beginning also.

So I took their advice and put on Netflix and it of course had no issues.

The App Store reviews are atrocious and hilarious! You’d swear it’s from long time employees! But nope, just experienced consumers tired of AT&Ts carp!

Yeah and don’t forget about our data caps!

It works fine and almost channels are available now. They need to remove the three stream cap which I know is just a software change. As for quality it’s pretty much the least uncompressed video I’ve seen if you’re on a good hsia connection. Better quality than Directv and U-verse in 1080. The box is actually capable of 2160 so it’s ready for higher quality content. There is a slight learning curve to its use but once you get it down it’s great.
