smh, randall has had over 10 years to make decisions to better the company, all he has done is f—ed it up more.

Randall is the CEO of the company. He needs to continue to make decisions that benefits the company which will result in jobs. 5G deployment jobs. Mobility jobs.
As far as I can tell, the work that certain employees have been doing is outsourced to IBM, Accenture, etc. If there is training of foreign workers, that would be IBM, Accenture, etc.
But if these employees haven't been re-badge yet, how do they already know that? From what I heard, they are guaranteed a years worth of work.

Since Randall touted the 7000 jobs number to the American tax payer , perhaps he should be subpoenaed under oath in front of congress so he could better explain the number of people hired compared to the number of people out sourced and all the other shenanigans involved with the tw merger and what he testified to the doj according to pricing for the consumer and job related merger losses that were not supposed to happen since it was a “vertical integration .”
The At&T Corporation is traitorous to the American worker. If you still pay for AT&T services of any kind, stop. Tell everybody you know to stop doing business with this despicable corporation. Then start looking for a better job else where.

The plan from 2010 is in full effect. Everyone was warned. Training was offered.
That would be great! Then they can focus on AT&T call centers all going to other countries, retail not moving to authorized, and subcontracting on every level! What if profits were used to reorganize the company to actually keep people employed and helping the economy? I’m no CEO but how much extra $ is floating out there that could help? It might trim some golf course kickoffs and trips but you know jobs...
I spoke with many people who AT&T outsourced who has work there for decades. Basically AT&T tell the employees either to accept the outsource or quit. Either way AT&T won't pay them the severance pay as outline in the company's policy when AT&T terminating employment. If you quit you don't even have the unemployment benefit. What a terrible way to treat their worker. The effected workers feel AT&T treat them like piece of company's properties, and sell them like slave.
I read that article and could not help but get even more angrier. I had a friend around 2000 that this happened to with amdocs. This should be illegal. It isn't like the technology is dead or going away it is out and out replacement of workers based on salary and benefits.
I did this first hand in the 2004 - 2008 time frame and is the main reason why I left the company. Told us they were going to help off hours (because their daytime is our night-time) then when they were up to speed people got surplussed. When I saw that happen I knew I would not retire there but just waited for the right offer and time to jump ship. Never got surplussed but didn't want to work for company that just lies to the employees. I have a little more self respect for myself than that and to just wait for a half years salary to be asked to leave is not worth it to me no matter my age or years of service.
How anybody can stay at att after knowing these facts is beyond me but who am I to judge it is money and paycheck as so many people said on this forum but just not the way I want to collect my money and paycheck.
I am a still confused? What are your thoughts about internal employees, ex-employees, customers, vendors, companies taken over and “destroyed”, public & private sector leaders, financial management groups, etc. all “knowing” about us... Yet we still continue? How?
This has been going on for years, but not the numbers that they are doing now. At least 5 of my friends were forced to train their replacements who came here from India. The term is "shadow" or "meter". It's disgusting and humiliating to the American worker.

Wait until the Donald figures out that T was awarded the FirstNet contract worth Billions of $ plus they got tons of "free" spectrum worth even more Billions of $ to use for dual FirstNet and regular customers - and this is how Randy pays back the US Tax payers!
