I have nothing but excellent managers level 3 on down. My present director is actually a personal friend of mine. Well before At&t. Believe me, they are not part of the destruction of this company.

Managers don't hold the reins at this organization. This place is a collectivist, groupthink top down managed bureaucracy. The executives make the decisions, and everyone below them all the way down to customer service is expected to follow their direction without question or any thought whatsoever.
Which explains why this place is an absolute disaster. You have arrogant executives a dozen levels removed from what is actually going on in the world who get their information from spreadsheets and sycophants constantly reinforcing what incredibly brilliant people they are.
Meanwhile, the employees who actually make this place work are not empowered to use common sense or deviate from the pre-programmed id–tic script in any way.
This company is burning to the ground and Randall is fiddling while fools like Yale tell him he's a 'Leadership Legend'.

Directors on down have Zero say in the direction of the Company. If you are referring to L2 & L1 You have it completely wrong. If you’re statement refers to an L1, the statement also applies to the labor force out in the trenches. We’re all in this horrible ride together. Quit pointing fingers and blaming others when you have equal amount of responsibility for what’s happening.
