Apple, Amazon, Disney warchests are bursting. The lawmaking game doesn't work as well as it use to for the slow and bloated. The new games in town are taking ATTs legs out from it. Game over within 10 years.

yep 5g changes a lot of things and even wireless is going to be different. obvious randy and stankey could care less about fiber. looking like 5g is going to even the field at least some hopefully.
OR, @j1g, as soon as Randall gets rid of his pipeline so he can have more cash to blow on acquisitions and focus on living his childhood dream of being a major media star.
T's antiquated poorly maintained copper ain't gonna be worth a krap for content delivery going forward, and they have not been investing adequately in fiber to be ready for the future. Nor is there anything to prevent GOOG, AAPL, AMZN, or some well funded infrastructure REIT from building more pipeline in the future.
Sorry bud not going to happen, those are all CONTENT only a few of them have SOME minor delivery infrastructure. but you still need the pipes and spectrum to deliver allthat content, guess who owns that???? T , VZ TMO and S , plus a federation of big cable monopolies.. so until Apple,Amazon , Disney get into the delivery business, T will be fine, and don't worry about lobyying efforts these places use the same big boy lobbying firms as GOOG, AAPL, and AMZN
