Got invite for tomorrow morning surplus/rebadging call under Alapati org.

will apps currently not supported by Accenture under Satish will also move to Accenture ?
It seems Uncle Alapati was able to keep the family together — Let's see how the family performs when their current contractors (likely extended family members) whom are not Accenture employees are replaced with Accenture folks.
The employees in my old group were cut in half, off payroll Dec 3. The NPW will not be picked up by Accenture. The developers and operations will go to Accenture. The small analyst staff of employees will remain with responsibility for the systems is what I was told. My previous co-workers did not even last a full year since I was cut earlier this year.
Areas hit : Digital Sales, Supply Chain, Collections, Payments, Commissions. Lot of people moving to Accenture.
What apps or systems in these orgs?
All systems under them or just some?
Alipati and Baskerville systems outsourced to Accenture ... inscope folks to be invited to call at 1 CST. The hits keep on coming

I left the sinking ship with the voluntary offer in 2018, life is better after AT&T. I hate that so much of what we accomplished in TechDev has been trashed but I'm so happy to not have to deal with the poor decisions, the constant worry and the BS politics of trying to survive in such a toxic environment.
this is true, you actually have a better chance of getting an interview before your profile is flagged as surplus. if you do get the interview, do not tell them you have been surplussed if they ask why you are leaving your group and want the position. after you fall into the surplus category, you may as well concentrate your efforts outside the company.
I hope everyone that got the email went an applied for internal jobs in other organizations. For those that will be impacted by outsourcing will be frozen tomorrow.

It will be interesting to see how many "family members" Uncle Alapati was able to protect :). Those of you who have been around for a long time know what I mean.
